Follow these steps to Install Percona 8 in CentOS 7
yum install https://repo.percona.com/yum/percona-release-latest.noarch.rpm
Enable percona server 8.0 repo
percona-release setup ps80
Install percona server
sudo yum install percona-server-server
Start mysql Server
service mysql start
Find the temporary password and login to mysql
sudo grep "temporary password" /var/log/mysqld.log
Run mysql_secure_installation
/usr/bin/mysql_secure_installation
Change the password, answer “yes” every question
